Move over sliced bread, the best thing to happen to the kitchen is smart appliances.
We are already using technology to control our lights, control our music and assist us in the minutiae of daily life, so having a smart kitchen is the natural next step. In fact, the smart appliances market is projected to be a 37.2 billion market by 2020.
And it makes sense, especially considering that smartphones and tablets are a big part of the kitchen experience for more than half of 25- to 34-year-olds. And with younger generations becoming increasingly tech savvy, soon it will be hard to remember a time when we didn’t have smart appliances helping us navigate our kitchens.
If you’re building a new home, you’re lucky. You get to equip your new kitchen with all the latest tech. But there are so many smart appliances out there that it can be hard to choose. Here are our must-have smart kitchen appliances.
